A honest, straight-up tune. Conscious Route writes a letter which he could never post so he reads it aloud, picking at the hardship of dealing with a terminally ill dad that he doesn’t like but still loves, as well as the past of their relationship. This track is a brave truth spoken aloud where most would hide, or maybe even ignore, that they felt such conflicting feelings.
